week 11 Exhibition

Catch up

This week was a smaller week because of school holidays we had Monday off and I mist Tuesday because I was sick. I feel that the whole point of this week was to prepare for the exhibition night.

I feel that this week was easier then others because all we did was plan and finalise everything.

This week allowed me to achieve a lot of things but not every thing.

The finish

This week the class was concentrated and calm when it came to exhibition allowing me to achieve my goals and work to my potential.

This week was a emotional week. We finished so many things on the to do list. Here are some:

More about what I did

I feel that this week was all finishing off. I found that I struggled with Info texts because I was sick on Monday which is when they explained it so I went home and I started them I ended up spending around 3 hours on them. The poem was easy because I only had to do 2 poems.

Week 8 Reflection

This week I struggled because I was sick for a day and I needed to find extra time to finish the information texts and our hand drawn charts. I think I did well in poetry because I used a common poem to start it and a deep dark ending. I think I need to work on my organisation as well as my concentration.

Out of class exhibition

I think I did well in art because I finished, added a background and made it emotional. PE was okay but not the best but we did well in our corporation and worked efficiently. In music we haven’t done much we have only done a quote.

Research reflection

Finding out

I feel that my research went well because I worked effectively by concentrating and trying not to talk. Researching was hard but I tried and I failed but I tried again and did well. I struggled with my notes mostly because I just researched and didn’t right notes. But I feel that I wrote all my sources. This is what research looks like:

Sorting out

Sorting out was easy because it was so short that it only took two lessons and all I did was organise. But I was under pressure because it was short:

going deeper

Going deeper was annoying because I didn’t have much to go deeper with and I organised meetings with mr Boden and Steve. Going deeper was stressful as well because it is so short.

Week six reflection

This week I feel that I did well in concentrating to take notes while researching. But could have done better in finding the right websites because there is so much information about my issue, it was challenging . I think I worked efficiently I completed all my questions from my 1st and 2nd lines of Inquiry but I still need to complete my last one. I found starting difficulty because I need to look back and see what I was doing.

Firstly, I chose this issue because I am really interested in global warming. I put most of my hard work into my central idea and lines of inquiry. It took me three try’s but I did it in the end. My least favourite but most important thing is the lotus diagram

Today we made a six word story. Six word story’s are normally really sad but only only six words.

Today in digital technology we made a nursery rimes in to computer language. The boxes mean that the word that is connected by the lines used to be there

Personal devices at school

Personal Phones at school

 

If whoever is meant to pick you up from school get lost or forget to pick you up and you have no way to contact them what do you do?
I strongly believe Phones should be allowed at school.

there are downsides to it but you can prevent that bye using your common sense. It may effect class work and disturb the class but if you where to put your phone on sleep mode and turn it on silent it wont make any noise class.

If phones where allowed at school it would make the parents job so much easier because if you where to go with your fiends after school you will be able to contact them. If there was a emergency at school (for example there was a fire) you can contact your parents it would make the teachers job so much easier.
If you forget something if you had a phone on you then you could call a parent to drop it of at school.

This is why we should be aloud to bring phones to school
